Cultivating Emotional Appeal for Natural CPG Brands

The consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is projected to make about $721.8 billion in sales in 2020. The marketplace is crowded, and competition is fierce for both retail shelf space and shelf space in consumers' homes. Claims such as natural or organic used to be a differentiator for companies producing natural products, but this simply isn’t enough now that CPGs (including natural ones) are quickly become commoditized. The solution? Natural and organic CPG brands must develop an authentic bond with a large number of consumers in order to differentiate and scale. Emotive was founded by Jaime Cahalan on this premise.

Emotive specializes in developing and executing focused and creative strategies for growth stage healthy food, beauty and supplement brands. Jaime’s strong conviction to put only clean ingredients in and on herself and her family paired with an in-depth knowledge of this space make Emotive the logical choice for the brands with which she personally aligns.

Jaime Cahalan
Natural CPG Brand Strategist

Jaime has 10 years of experience working, consulting and advising in the natural products CPG space. She has worked with brands such as Brad’s Raw Foods, Rao’s Homemade, Living Intentions, The Stanley Brothers, Wandering Bear Coffee and more. Jaime’s background is skilled and diverse. She excels at creating a strong organizational and strategic structure with an eye towards culture, marketing and brand awareness.

Kasey Lane
Project Coordinator 

Kasey keeps all projects at Emotive organized and running on track.  She keeps the details while we think through strategy. Kasey is a recent graduate of Paul Smith’s College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science. She also received the prestigious President’s Award for holding the highest GPA in her class. As a rugby athlete, Kasey has a love for natural foods and fueling her body for function. Not only can she keep multiple projects on task at Emotive, but she aligns personally with every brand we work with.
